GEAS ASSESSMENT OF SUPERSTRUCT/GEN EXILE

In many respects, the Generation Exile superthreat is about far more than displaced communities and global dislocation. Many of the problems underlying Generation Exile exist for all populations, and -- correspondingly -- many of the solutions offered by proposed superstructures would improve the lives of communities across the spectrum. So while Generation Exile may be the most challenging superthreat for many SEHIs, it is possibly also the most critical. Of all of the superthreats, Generation Exile strikes most deeply at the question of who we are as a planetary civilization, and who we want to be.

The superstructure responses to Generation Exile point us in the right direction. While the answers to the other superthreats give us good reasons for understanding how we can survive, the answers to Generation Exile help us understand why.
