Refugees? I am not seeing any.

Western Europe has a total lock down

People all over Europe are complaining about refugees and lately you are seeing refugees permitted worker passes, as long as they follow strict guidelines, have a useful skill and openly wear an identification pass. Of course many go underground, assuming faked identities, but the problem isn't nearly as pervasive as some right wing elements claim.

In fact there has barely been an increase in immigrants, in raw numbers in the last twenty years. In Italy numbers dropped sharply due to vicious government crackdowns and the draconian identification measures.

We keep hearing about the horrible destabilization refugees are causing but we are not noticing it from where we are standing. Sure, refugee camps south of the Turkish border, along the eastern borders, all over the northern sahara. Refugees trying to paddle the mediterrean, corpses washing to shore in the hundreds every single day. Stories of stealth helicopters hovering the Mediterrean waters silently, using metalstorm chainguns to cut down smugglers and rafts and overcrowded ships. 

Maybe Europe is saying - this is simply not our problem.

    The Kurds and Turkish still clash, we have been notified of intelligence that there are multiple terrorist attacks planned inside Izmir, Istanbul and Ankara. We have recommended to the local military offices and AFOSI to change the threat condition to ThreatCon Charlie.

    I don't where you are Ruud, but London's got a fair few. And tensions stemming from the exile generation were a significant factor in the Birmingham ReDS riots. Things might not be *good* for immigrants, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. They're probably just keeping their heads down.

    You are seeing "a few more refugees" in Londen, a major metropolitan area with millions of people. Try the same pepsi test in Carmarthen! .................... Sure I would agree that in 2019 there has been increase in refugees in Europe, especially in cities. But bet your ass rural populations will push back real viciously, and local politics will go all National Front on your ass as soon as the maximum tolerance rates are reached. And europeans have it in themselves to be really allergic to what they regard as tribal invasions. That has been a tradition of sorts in Europe. Even then, sure, European populations can sponge up a large amount of (a) unschooled slave labour, with orange jumpsuits, bar code tattoos, RFID implants, shaven heads (against lice) and identification cards (can you see this, I sure can) or (b) high education contract workers, who'll be allowed to wear suits. ............ Ok lets look at the maximum tolerance values for immigrants. As an example, take the post US resource-consolidation occupation of Iraq and the spin off on Syria. ............................. http://en.scientificcommons.org/38021438 ...................................... That is the maximum tolerance, far far above what european populations would tolerate. Likewise Damascus wouldnt accept the same level of /african/ or /japanese/ refugees. ................. The implications of that will be camps. We have seen just how grotesque these camps will get when a sufficiently desperate population is pressed against an unyielding barrier. Results: exploitation, drug, despair, famine, disease, slavery, rape. And we are talking camps with as many people as cities. In fact I'd argue that many favelas that formed in the late 20th century in most of southamerica, are in fact refugee camps. My point is - these camps are INCOMPARABLE with what you describe as "but London's got a fair few", even if "they keep their head down". I am talking camps where people wade through shit and have to kill to get food, and that situation unchanging for years.
